“:their defense is departed from them, and the Lord is with us:
fear them not.” Numbers 14:9
By Riley J. Hood-CPoW State Chairman
Do the following names sound familiar to you? Shammua, son of Zachur; Shaphat, son of Hori: Igal, son of Joseph, Palti the son of Raphu? Gaddiel, the son of Soddi? How about Gaddi the son of Susi, or Ammiel the son of Gemalli, or Sethur the son of Michael, or Nahbi, the son of Vosphi, or Geuel the son of Machi? Remember those guys? After all, they won an election. Their view was carried by a vote of ten to two, the losing party being Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb. Now you remember those guys!
So what did the ten spies campaign on, what was their message to the people, it was, “We be not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.” Numbers 13:31 And they further stated, “And there we saw giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.” Numbers 13:33
Nevertheless, Joshua and Caleb urged the people to take the land, “And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once and possess it; for we are able to overcome it.”Numbers13:30. If you read Numbers Chapter 14, the report of the ten won the day. The people of Israel were going to appoint a captain, to go back to Egypt. The people were ready to stone Moses, Aaron, Joshua, and Caleb, until the Lord intervened. (Read Numbers 14:10-11)
The amazing thing is, most men know God rules in their affairs, but when the pressure is on, they act like God doesn’t. So you had the people of God, ordered by God to take out the evil, immoral Canaanites, and take over their land. You had a small group of faithful men urging the people to obey God, and then you had the pragmatists saying “they can’t win” and “they’re not viable,” wanting to go back to Egypt, probably because it was the least of two evils.
In 2012, Virgil Goode, former Congressman from Virginia; a godly man committed to setting things right in America, especially reining in moral crimes, ran for US President. The people of America, believed an evil report, again, and voted for Romney, a man who wasn’t willing to undo anything that Obama has done. The results are that Americans get chafe under Obama, and his evil works for another 4 years. If most people deserve the government they have, the pre-born who will continue to be murdered, do not deserve this government.
Be glad we didn’t get what Israel got. They got to wander for 40 years in the desert until everyone of those faithless men died in their unbelief. As for those pragmatists, posing as believers, they got their punishment up front, “Even those men that did bring up the evil report upon the land, died by plague before the Lord.” Numbers 14:37 So the ten men named at the top of the article are yesterday’s losers, which is why most people don’t remember them.
CPoW is committed to being faithful to Biblical Principles, and to how they are expressed in the Declaration of Independence and the US constitution. Even though, after fighting hard for Virgil Goode in 2012, and only gaining .2% of the vote, we know the majority candidates are yesterdays losers, and CPoW will, when we “take the land” put an end to the modern day Baal Worship that our Nation is rife with, namely Abortion, Euthanasia, Sodomy, Adultery, Prostitution, Drunkenness and Gambling. We may have been smeared in 2012, but we were the only Party to hold the moral high ground, in Wisconsin. 2012’s effort a few people took on the giants, committing their fortunes and sacred honor to do so. CPoW will continue to fight, and our star will shine brighter and brighter.
“The happy Union of these States is a wonder; their Constitution is a miracle;
their example the hope of liberty throughout the world. Woe to the ambition
that would meditate the destruction of either.”-James Madison

Recent events have brought to light the targeting of Tea Party groups by certain elements of the IRS. Should agents who abuse their powers be punished? Yes. But America needs better than that. The IRS is there to collect a direct tax, the income tax. A federal direct tax was never part of our Nation’s founding, and it took the 16th Amendment passed in 1913, to impose an income tax upon Americans. The IRS may be allowable, but it will always be un-American.
The CPoW position on the IRS and the federal income tax is straight forward, both must be abolished. There is nothing in the 16th Amendment that says we must have an income tax. As long as we have a confiscatory tax, and a tax code that the average American can never fully comply with, our citizens will continue to be at the mercy of the whims of IRS bureaucrats. When the IRS is abolished, is when the bad behavior will stop, and not before.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance. Psalm 33:12
By Grant Gillespie
One of the first subjects the Constitution Party mentions in their platform is Jesus:
“The Constitution Party of Wisconsin gratefully acknowledges the blessing of the Lord God as Creator, Preserver, and Ruler of the Universe and of this Nation. It recognizes Jesus Christ as transcendent King over all nations and hereby appeals to Him for aid, comfort, guidance and the protection of His Divine Providence as we work to restore and preserve this nation as a government of the people, by the people, and for the people”.
This party does not give Jesus a back seat. They let him drive. Many, if not all of the Constitution Party’s beliefs and stances come from the Bible as well as the US Constitution.
We have all in some way felt our call to keep this nation under God. Many of us Christians support God’s definition of marriage. We want a small, limited government. Not too much to bring tyranny; not too little to bring anarchy. We believe life begins at the moment of fertilization. We believe God should be in the class rooms.
Our nation has been slowly moving away from Jesus bit by bit. Our nation is like when a child grows day by day. You don’t notice the changes unless you look in the past. Pictures and memories of what the child was like. What our nation was like.
How do we keep God in the center of our nation? My first answer, years ago, was the republicans. Let me tell you a little history of my political life. I came from a republican family. I was in line with my mother’s side of the family, as they were all right-wing. My father’s side was left wing, although my father was a right-wing man. He introduced me to politics through listening to radio programs while driving home. It started with Mark Levin, then Rush and Hannity. Though I do disagree with them now, if it wasn’t for listening to them take interest in our country, I wouldn’t be writing this today.
Then one day I received a literature pamphlet on our railing outside. If I remember right, it was titled, “Real Americans Don’t Vote Democrat”. It was from the Constitution Party of Wisconsin (CPoW). I was so impressed by what they had to say, that like Christ calling of the disciples, I left behind the GOP and began to follow.
Ever since then, my new answer to political questions became CPoW. Though we are a small party, I have seen our numbers begin to grow. We have the potential to take good percentages from races and we are already driving the talking points. Just look at the Milwaukee County Board. We wanted to cut the Board back in spring 2012 with Jerry Broitzman’s campaign.
What is our vision for this nation? We want to put God at the center. To accomplish that, you need a political party with God at the center. We want America to accept God’s definition of marriage; one man, one woman. We want to have a limited government by applying the restraints of the US Constitution on the federal government. We want to protect life from the womb to natural death. We want to tell the truth to our children that God created them; that He loved them so much, He sent his Son to die for us and is alive today. That is our vision.

“Masters, give your servants that which is just and equal;

In 1986, I entered the work force. At that time most companies still had personnel departments. While “human resources” were starting to come-in, most people still preferred the concept of personnel. After all, the root word of Personnel is Person, implying all the dignity that is legally bestowed upon personhood.
What human resources turns people into non-persons, and treats them like equipment, when no longer of use, it is trashed, or sold for parts. You are no longer persons working for an employer, you are assets, like the companies other assets, the equipment. If you want to see human resources taken to its logical conclusion, look at Communist China, where after you are “worked to death,” your body is then sold out for…
